The Stubborn Dawn Saga was originally written as just a blurb for me to read on my own. Now that is has grown into its own book series, I am elevating from my history as a Dungeon Master. One of the things I told BookBuzz during an interview, Books 1 through 7 are just the beginning portion to bring the story together and form the crew of the ship while telling a snippet of their backstories. The focus is purely Blymer, Mira and Orrulun for several books, then it grows into the entire crew. The plan is a 50 book series. ETA is not available of when each of the story arcs will be released, but rest assured they are being worked on one bit at a time than doing 156 chapters originally as the first 7 were made. What you are entering into is what I like to call a Space-Opera, Sci-Fi Mystery and Thriller through Novella length books. At most you may see up to 200 pages per book. Following the crew of the Stubborn Dawn as they face down foes, enemies and the interpersonal difficulties of being together. Families and partnerships will take place, the team will be threatened and the galaxy as you see it will change bit by bit as they uncover more of the truth in defending whom they care for. As time moves forward, more will be told and what awaits. But I urge you to read and find out.
Book One is released, Book Two is coming out soon, Book 3 is on pre-order. 4 through 7 are being refined so you can expect them to come month by month. This will be a story you want to read. Just have patience and see.
Biography
I never intended to be a published author, but it came up naturally as time moved forward.
Robert M. Drew is a soldier first, writer second with a Bachelors of Science in Information Security. He has been auto racing for nearly two decades and started as a role player on games like Star Wars Galaxies & Elder Scrolls that honed in his ability as a comprehensive writer and later dungeon master for groups in those games. In which that inspired him to write the saga you see today. The Stubborn Dawn Saga.
When I started writing these books, I have to disclose a little bit it was originally 156 chapters from start to finish, estimates about 190,000+ words, but it originally came from old stories told during my days as a Dungeon Master within a game where I had a group that formed below me with the help of people I could never have done it without.
With some extensive editing, the book just came together and instead of giving everyone a book that is 156 chapters with to many words to count, it made more sense to me in the long run to release them as multiple books instead of one big book. Easier on the reader and well me when writing it, this is a completely DIY project I have been sitting on for years.
So, from me as an inexperienced author learning the system bit by bit so I can help the next guy, I hope you enjoy the adventure of this crew going forward.
